OBCA
One image from the Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association show before I head off to pack for NAHBS. If you are in Richmond, please stop by the booth and say hello. The first handful of folks to make it by each day are in for a special treat.
I'm going to be there driving 20 hours one way friday and 20 back sunday. How is the seatpost attached? See you at the show.
ReplyDeleteThe post is a rare Campy Super Record model, made during the Moser aero era. The slanted bolt is captive and thread through a long aluminum rod. turning the bolt moves the rod uphill, following the angle of the bolt. As it travels up, it pulls on a wedge, much like a quill stem.
